10 weeks to go and it is beautiful outside

Right now I am sitting in my corner window office wondering why I am inside when it is 80 degrees outside. I have had a pretty good week, 3 runs and a swim and I am planning on a 3-4 hour ride in the morning. Hope the weather is gorgeous for everyone else and you get outside this weekend. Cory, I know that you always get what we get a day later so be ready for incredible weather tomorrow and sunday. Good luck at Cherry Blossom.

its 76 degrees here and the blossoms are in full glory...maybe this year will be the one where it isn't 40 degrees and windy during the 10 miler...Need to get on my bike to ride. Its the Capitol Hill Bike's expo this weekend so post race instead of eating a big meal I'll be rewarding myself with a trinket either from the bike shop or from REI.

I'm hoping to get out on the new bike tomorrow morning..not too much mileage; wouldn't want to jeopardize my 10 mile run on Sunday.

Of course the weather is going to be perfect on Sunday -- I'm ont running it! The weather has never been nice for the 10 miler since I have been doing it or since I first watched it even in 1999. It even snowed the morning of the race in 99! Anyway, good luck on Sunday Cory. Wish I could be out there with you.

Awesome luck on the weather, C! No raining/sleeting/snowing sideways? People won't know what to do with themselves!

Just got back from a 8.5 mile trail run in the rain. It's a good thing that's my only planned workout for the day because me and my couch are getting along famously right now and I'd be hard-pressed to leave. Managed 4 doubles this week and squeaked out a 19:44 mile swim yesterday which felt very good. Now I've got to up the mileage on the bike and start in on those darn bricks!

Good luck to Cory and I hope everyone gets out to enjoy their fabulous weather (and sends some of it along my way...)!
